It is situated right in <strong>the heart of the city<\/strong>, right next to the bullring, and was opened on 8 August 1917.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This busy station is characterised by its <strong>Modernist architectural style<\/strong>, and its exterior fa\u00e7ade features mosaics depicting women in the traditional dress of the period, garlands of oranges and other agricultural produce. It is undoubtedly a richly detailed portrayal of <strong>Valencian culture<\/strong>. On the other hand, the station\u2019s interior has a more elegant feel thanks to the ceramic mosaics.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to its geographical location and architectural quality, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dominohouse.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Estaci\u00f3n del Norte<\/a> was designated a <strong>Historic-Artistic Monument<\/strong> in 1961 and, in 1983, a<strong> Site of Cultural Interest<\/strong>.
